Terms of Service
By creating an account, you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.
What this service is
Nervoxin Smart Planning is a personal-finance planning app. You enter your income, bills, goals, and debts; the app projects your cash flow and helps you decide what to do next. It's a planning tool, not financial advice. We're not a bank, broker, lender, accountant, fiduciary, or registered investment advisor, and nothing in the app should be read as a recommendation tailored to your specific situation.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to sign up.
- You're responsible for keeping your password safe. If you suspect your account was accessed by someone else, change your password and email us.
- One person per account. Households can share later via the planned household feature.
- Use the app for your own planning. Don't try to break it, scrape it, or use it to harm anyone else.
Your data, your responsibility
Every number in the app is a number you entered. The app does its best to render projections accurately, but if you mistype a paycheck amount or forget a bill, the projection will be wrong in the same way. Double-check before making real-world decisions.
We back up the database on our hosting provider's standard schedule, but you should not treat the app as your only record of financial intent. Export when it matters.
Acceptable use
- Don't try to access other users' data, attack the service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our permission. (Coordinated disclosure is welcome — email us first.)
- Don't use the app to plan or facilitate anything illegal.
- Don't upload anything that isn't your own financial planning data (e.g., other people's private info, copyrighted text, etc.).
Subscription and billing
The hosted version of the app is a paid service (Stripe-billed). Pricing, trial length, and refund terms are described at the time of checkout. The self-host repo stays free and open under its existing license — these terms cover the hosted version you sign up for here.
You can cancel from Settings → Billing at any time; you'll retain access through the end of your paid period.
Service availability
We aim to keep the app up, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, hosting outages, and bugs happen. If something breaks for an extended period, email us.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms. We'll give a heads-up by email when reasonable.
Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost savings or profits arising from decisions you made using the app.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and notify you in the app or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after that means you agree to the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
